About AV Resilience
AV Resilience is an audio-visual and radio/TV broadcast technical services company based in the UK.
Clients come to AVR with a range of budgets and aspirations to turn their AV or broadcast technical project from a vision into reality.
Run by Iain Betson, a BBC-trained engineer who - apart from two years when he built nuclear missiles (true!) - has made a career in the professional AV and broadcast sectors, bringing a wealth of experience to the business.
In his career Iain has worked for BBC and independent national and local television and radio stations, facilities companies and media access organisations, holding positions including sales executive, producer and chief engineer, even as a DJ!
His final two years in the BBC was as a training instructor, where he passed his skills onto many of the major names in UK TV & Radio journalism today. He now offers training to producers of podcasts, audio & TV content.
A former radio shareholder and board member, he has acted as a consultant to media organisations in the UK and internationally.
Iain regularly contributes articles to broadcast and AV industry magazines.
